Sketch - [link] Closeups - [link] THE ART So like last year in the summer I decided to do another huge-ass cg again. Yes, again they feature the same characters( -__-), but this time I focused on exposing their actual environment more. As you can see, even though the characters are the main focus, their surroundings are much more shown at an expanse. I really didn't think I'd put so much effort into that but I got SO wound up in making crevices and dents and crap I couldn't stop. Why I chose this category. Maybe thats what airbrushing does to me. asdfashd. AIRBRUSHING. I should really do it more often, its one of the funnest things ever. I airbrushed until I could see faces in the rock. Crackhead D8 Anyways besides the outlining, heavy shadowing, and crap like blood, etc. this is all airbrushed. THE CONCEPT Um, typical scene! Psychotic Ryoka persuading Nanaimo to go and demolish something. Her grand way of fun! He's unimpressed, maybe should look more nervous, but he has been through this a bunch of times before and will probably end up tagging along anyways >3 They live in a very dangerous setting. The desert and canyon is full of serial killers, predators, ...cannibals, etc.  It is easy to find lost or abandoned mechanisms and contraptions. I guess would be better to use these for protection? A matter of fun or safety Most likely my last epic piece to be done in Photoshop Elements 2 (the program is far good enough for me, but I'm getting CS real soon!) ORIGINAL CHARACTERS © ME Daily DeviationGiven 2007-09-14=RYOKA seems to have placed a lot of effort in 'The Scheme Along the Cave'. A lot of effort and detail, specially in the background. Yet, you can't look away from the characters in the center of the picture. You can look at either the background or the foreground and they both complement eachother really well...
